SFs, Koite bodies agree to foster peace, cooperation

Churachandpur district police led by the SP and other officers, along with 129 BN CRPF, led by CO Manmadan Krishnan and other officers, on Wednesday held a meeting with Koite Area Chief Association, Koite Area Kuki Women Union, Koite Area Youth Association, and Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights at Koite Youth Club hall.
The meeting aims to foster better understanding between the district police/security forces and the public of Koite area in the future.
The SP emphasised the role of the security forces in maintaining peace and security, both within and outside the district.
He appealed to the leaders to work with the security forces in a spirit of mutual understanding to create a conducive atmosphere for the development of the community.

The officer underscored that the security forces are present solely for the security and peace of the region, not for personal reasons or benefits, and requested the public to continue supporting and cooperating with the police and various security forces.
The leaders also raised various concerns and reservations.
They expressed their appreciation and acknowledgement of the role the police and security forces, particularly the CAPFs, have played to date.
After thorough deliberation, the meeting concluded on a positive note, with an emphasis on greater understanding and cooperation through improved communication in the future.
