69 Bn CRPF celebrates 45th Raising Day

Imphal, March 06 2025: The 69 Bn CRPF, Mantripukhri, celebrated its 45 th Raising Day, marking over four decades of dedicated service to the nation.

Raised on March 6, 1981 at Hyderabad, the battalion has consistently demonstrated valour and commitment to safeguarding the security and upholding the rule of law, said a release issued by CRPS.

Delivering the welcome address, S A Rojan Zimik, Commandant of 69 Bn, welcomed the chief guest Rajendra Narayan Dash, IPS, IGP, Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF and other senior officers and dignitaries present on the occasion.

The Chief Guest felicitated the battalion and exhorted the personnel to keep the flag flying high and continue its unwavering commitment to future challenges.

To mark the 45th Raising Day, 69 Bn CRPF organised a series of events including a wreath laying ceremony to honour the sacrifices made by its brave soldiers and to high light the continuing spirit of discipline and camaraderie that defines a battalion.

The occasion culminated with a cultural programme and grand dinner which was attended by the families of the battalion and some families of brave martyrs.
