RIMS bans trespassing, grazing in 2nd campus

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) has announced immediate prohibition of unauthorised entry and grazing of animals within the RIMS 2nd campus (College of Nursing, Dental College, OBC Boys & OBC Girls Hostel) premises.
In a release, RIMS informed that the prohibition is to ensure safety of students, public security and cleanliness in the campus.
The decision to ban these activities was made after several incidents of trespassing and unauthorised grazing including fishing, which caused damage to campus property and posed potential hazards to both students and public, it maintained.
The release also mentioned that the RIMS authority is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for its students, staff and visitors at RIMS Dental OPD.
Further, it is notified that if any individual is found violating this prohibition, he/she will be liable to face legal consequences, as per the applicable laws and regulations and may also include fines and other penalties to deter such activities.
