Imphal, February 13 2025: Assam Rifles in collaboration with North East Association Social Welfare will organise Unity Utsav, a five-day festival celebrating the sportsmanship and cultural heritage of Northeast India under the theme 'One Voice, One Nation' in New Delhi from February 15.According to PRO IGAR (S), Director General of Assam Rifles lieutenant general Vikas Lakhera made the announcement while addressing the media at the national capital on Thursday.

Highlighting the significance of the grand initiative, Vikas Lakhera expressed confident that the Unity Utsav will bring together over 1000 students from all eight north-eastern states, showcasing their talent and fostering a spirit of unity and national pride.

The event will culminate in a spectacular cultural evening featuring traditional music, dance and performances by students from the region.

The vibrant showcase will celebrate the Northeast's rich heritage and diverse traditions, said the PRO in a release.
