AR hosts A Day with Company Commander'

Imphal, December 11 2024: Assam Rifles recently organised an event titled "A Day with Company Commander" for students from local schools in Wanglee village, with the aim of motivating young minds and fostering a sense of nationalism and camaraderie among the participants.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the event drew 58 attendees, including 42 students and 8 teachers from the nearby Namlee village.

The day's activities included a range of engaging sports such as sack races, tug of war, ice-breaking sessions, and musical chairs, creating an enjoyable and vibrant atmosphere.

Participants were also given a guided tour of the Company Operating Base, providing them with a first-hand understanding of the daily operations and responsibilities of the soldiers.

The event culminated with distribution of prizes to winners and participants, along with the provision of snacks and refreshments.

Students, teachers, and parents expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for organising such an event, said the PRO in a press release.
