Naharol Sahitya Premi Samiti holds annual meet

Imphal, June 10 2024: Naharol Sahitya Premi Samiti, Imphal convened its 65th annual meet at its office located at Dr Kamal Literary Complex, Langthabal Kunja on Sunday along with releasing a monograph on Ningthoukhongjam Khelchandra Singh written by Samiti president Naoroibam Indramani.

The meet was attended by former minister Dr M Nara as chief guest, Samiti president Naoroibam Indramani as president and former Samiti president professor Polem Nabachandra as special guest.

Those gathered observed a two-minute silence in memory of late Meetei Pung Guru Sougaijam Thanil, late Meetei culture researcher Sairem Nilbir and those killed in the ongoing violence in Manipur since May 3, 2023 .
