Awareness on drugs abuse held at Koijam

Tengnoupal, March 09 2025: District administration, Tengnoupal and DSWO, Tengnoupal organised a community awareness programme under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan at Koijam village, Machi Block in Tengnoupal district on Sunday.

The programme was participated by over 100 members of women's society and Self Help Groups (SHGs) of the surrounding villages.

A one day awareness programme on "Drugs to Education" under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was also held at Sinanu Institute of Sciences (Co-educational Higher Secondary School), Maringphai, Machi Block, Tengnoupal district on Saturday.

The event was attended by around 322 students and 14 faculties of the institute.

Meanwhile, International Women's Day was celebrated at Tengnoupal district HQ on Saturday by the district administration.

The event was attended by DC Krishna Kumar and SP Rahul Gupta among others.
