Foundation stone laid for indigenous pillar

Imphal, August 07 2024: Federation of Haomee (FoH) laid the foundation stone for installation of an indigenous pillar of 25 indigenous communities having Yek-Salai (clan lineage) at Sawombung Kabui Khunjao, Imphal East district on Wednesday.

According to FoH publicity secretary Huirem Bharat Meitei, the foundation stone laying ceremony attended by different communities was marked by performing of prayers and rituals.

FoH president Sapamcha Jadumani laid the foundation stone while Construction Committee chairman Dr K Heera Kabui set target of four months to complete construction.

The Federation urged the indigenous communities to extend all possible help in expediting construction of the indigenous pillar.
