Imphal, July 04 2021: Former MLA of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, Soibam Subhaschandra said that repairing of roads and bridges are being taken up now in the constituency which were included in work programme during his tenure.

He made the above statement while inspecting the repairing work of the road from Mongsangei till Senapati Loukon today.

He continued that black topping for roads along Mekola-Lairenjam, Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai and Thokchom Leikai will be begin soon.

The repairing for Tarahei road, Haobam Marak Chingtham Leikai road and Ningombam road is going on which were included in work programme during his tenure as an MLA for 3 and half years, he added.

Soibam Subhaschandra stated that the repairing for the road till Senapati Loukon is being taken up in association with the locals as requested by the farmers of Senapati Loukon and will try to include the same road under Inter Village Roads (IVR) .

He continued that various water supply projects were initiated during his tenure in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC however due to a political accident, such projects could not be completed on time.

He affirmed that despite all the hurdles, he will continue to work for the people of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC selflessly.
