Imphal, June 01 2024: Assam Rifles organised a career counselling session for youth in remote village areas in Joupi, Khengjoi sub-division, Chandel district on Saturday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the session was led by Ultimate Coaching Academy, Churachandpur director Sekhao Haokip and was held with an aim to inform youth about the various career opportunities available after completing higher secondary, graduation and post-graduation studies.

Activities included a group career counselling workshop by Sekhao Haokip, a motivational lecture by major Nishant encouraging youth to join the Armed Forces and a special motivational speech by riflewoman Kim, tailored for young women, it added.

The release also mentioned that during the event which was attended by 87 youths from Khengjoi sub-division, informative pamphlets detailing career options were distributed, while the speakers were felicitated by the commanding officer.
