Transfer/posting of civil, police officials effected

Imphal, January 30 2025: The state government has ordered the transfer and posting of several IAS, IFS, IRS, MCS, IPS and MPS officers with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to an order issued by chief secretary (CS) Prashant Kumar Singh on Tuesday, IAS officers Paulunthang Vaiphel has been entrusted to discharge duty as additional CS and director general/SAT; Arun Kumar Sinha as principal secretary (Agriculture/Forest, Environment & Climate Change); RK Dinesh Singh as commissioner-cum-secretary (AR/MAHUD) and commissioner (DE); Devesh Deval as commissioner-cum-secretary (Tourism); Joy Singh as commissioner-cum-secretary (Art & Culture/IPR); PK Jha as chief electoral officer, and commissioner-cum-secretary (Election); Ningthoujam Geoffrey as secretary to CM & commissioner-cum-secretary (Social Welfare/WR/MI/ CADA) and special secretary (Cabinet) and CEO/MIDA; Dr Shailesh Kumar Chourasia as commissioner-cum-secretary (Cooperation/Power) & member secretary (MANIREDFA) & officer-in-charge, Public Grievances Redressal & Anti-Corruption Cell, Chief Minister's Office and resident commissioner, Manipur Bhawan, New Delhi; John Tlangtinkhuma as commissioner-cum-secretary to Government of Manipur & special secretary (Finance); Haobam Rosita as secretary (Fisheries) & special secretary (Health & FW) and secretary, Manipur Human Rights Commission; Hungyo Worshang as secretary (PHED/TA & Hills) & commissioner (Excise); Th Kirankumar as secretary (IT) and managing director (Manipur State Beverage Corporation Limited); Mannuamching as deputy commissioner (Pherzawl); N Bandana Devi as secretary (Skill, Labour, Employment & Entrepreneurship) & SMD/ MSRLM; Kengoo Zuringla as secretary (Science & Tech) & special secretary (Health & FW); Naorem Praveen Singh as special secretary (Health & FW) secretary (MA/OBC &SC/ YAS) & director/MANIREDA; W Malemnganba Chenglei as special secretary (Finance/ IPR); Somorjit Salam as special secretary (Cooperation/Relief & Disaster Management) and director (State Lotteries); Dr Rangitabali Waikhom as sec-retary, Manipur Staff Selection Commission & special secretary (Edn-S/Health & FW); Arambam Valentina as director (Edn-U); Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam as director (Transport); Mayanglambam Rajkumar as deputy commissioner (Imphal West); L Nandakumar Singh as deputy commissioner, Chandel; Anna Arambam as director (Social Welfare); Ranjan Yumnam as director (Institutional Finance); Pooja Elangbam as director (Tourism); Luckyson Ngamsha Kashung as joint secretary (Textiles, Commerce & Industries); and Asish Das as deputy commissioner (Ukhrul) .

Meanwhile, IFS officers Anurag Bajpai has been put in charge as PCCF (HoFF) & additional chief secretary (Textiles, Commerce & Industries) and RK Amarjit Singh as CF/ Central Circle with additional charge of special secretary (Forest, Environment & Climate Change/Land Resources) and CF/Northern Circle, while IRS officer N Kheda Varta Singh has been appointed as secretary (Land Resources/YAS/ CAF&PD).

Meanwhile, as per another order, IPS officers Rakesh Balwal has been posted as SP/Imphal East; Anupam as AD/MPTC and Joint Secretary (Home); Shivanand Surve as SP/Senapati; Shaikh Mohd Zaib Zakir as Sr SO to DGP; Babitarani Swain as SP/Tamenglong; Prakhar Pandey as SP/Churachandpur; and K Meghachandra Singh as CO/1 MR.The same order also appointed MPS officers Dr S Ibomcha Singh as i/c SP/Thoubal; Luikham Lanmiyo as i/c SP/Chandel; and M Binodkumar as SDPO/Porompat.
