Divers' Association cash aids injured driver

Imphal, August 29 2024: Manipur Drivers' Association (MDA) on Thursday extended monetary assistance to assistant driver Pradip Sangrola (30) of Charhajare, Kanglatongbi, who is currently undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College following an accident at Leingangpokpi along the Imphal-Jiribam route.

MDA president Saikhom Babudhon, Ksh Sanjoy, advisor Ganga and other key members of the Association handed over the monetary aid through driver Loukrakpam Manisana of Senjam Chirang.

Taking serious note of the accident, MDA secretary Ksh Sanjoy has called for repairing the Imphal-Jiribam route at the earliest and addressing inconveniences faced by the drivers so as to prevent accidents in the future.

He also appealed to the people settling along the highway to extend cooperation.
