SS, Imphal cadets interact with company commander

In its continuous efforts to inspire and engage with the youth, Indian Army organised 'A Day with Company Commander' for the cadets of Sainik School, Imphal in Bishnupur district.
In a release, PRO Defence informed that the event featured a variety of activities to familiarise the cadets with the rich history and ethos of Indian Army, while giving them a glimpse of the scenic Loktak Lake.
30 cadets of class IX attended the event.
The cadets visited Indian National Army (INA) Museum in Moirang, where they learnt about history and role of INA and 'Netaji' Subhash Chandra Bose in the Freedom Movement.
The cadets also visited Sendra Army Camp in Bishnupur district.
Cadets were also taken to the 'Red Shield Centre of Wellness and Excellence' popularly known as 'Manipur Super 50', where a variety of activities were conducted including a volleyball match, screening of motivational movie about 'Life In The Army', and an interactive session with officers and soldiers, it mentioned.
