AR organises tour for children's home

Churachandpur, July 26 2025: Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) and 27 Sector Assam Rifles, organised a recreational outing for the children and staff of SUNRISE (Home of Hope) Children's Home, run by the Discipleship Making Ministry (DMM) .

The children were taken on a cheerful trip to the scenic Khuga Dam and a nearby resort, where they enjoyed various games and activities.

A special lunch was also arranged, making the day memorable for all.

The initiative aimed to strengthen ties between the Assam Rifles and the local community, particularly underprivileged children.

The management of SUNRISE Children's Home expressed sincere gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their kindness and support, said a release from the Assam Rifles.
