Chandel, February 25 2025: A day-long seminar on the topic "Harnessing Artificial Intelligence Opportunities for Women/Students" organised by Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) in association with United College, Chandel and Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe (Monsang Naga Students' Union) was held at the seminar hall of United College in Lambung, Chandel on Tuesday.

The function was attended by MSCW chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Mon-sang, members T Choungsin Koireng and Sophia Moyon, Chandel ADM Md Firoj Khan and United College principal Dr Bd Thumdal as presidium members.

Chandel food safety officer Dr Wilson Monsang and South East Manipur College assistant professor Dr L Khiloni spoke on the topic "Harnessing Artificial Intelligence Opportunities for Women/Students" as resource persons during the technical session.

Speaking at the event, Tiningpham Monsang highlighted that with the rapid advancement of science and technology in today's world,, and the increasing prominence of AI, the importance of AI has grown manifold.

The seminar was organised with the primary goal of fostering the career of women and students in their respective fields.
