Imphal, July 23 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, chaired a comprehensive review meeting on Wednesday at the conference hall of Raj Bhavan, here, focusing on the ongoing initiatives of the Agriculture Department.

In a release, PRO Raj Bhavan informed that officials from the Agriculture Department gave a detailed presentation highlighting key activities and Digital Agriculture Mission.

The department also brought to light the pressing issue of manpower shortages in the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) .

Later, the Governor also reviewed the state's Mobile Veterinary Services during a presentation at the conference hall.

Officials from the Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry briefed the Governor on the operations of 33 Mobile Veterinary Units (MVUs) providing emergency care to livestock across the state.

They highlighted achievements, ongoing challenges, and plans to strengthen the helpline service, it further said.
