June Committee expresses gratitude

Imphal, June 22 2025: Observation Committee of the 24th The Great June Uprising, Unity Day, lauded the public for honouring and paying tribute to the 18 brave hearts who sacrificed their lives to protect Manipur's integrity.

In a release, publicity sub-committee convenor Heisnam Phoren Mangang lauded Department of Environment & Climate Change, Kangla Fort Board, and Imphal Municipal Council (IMC) for their contributions in cleaning the Kekrupat, the site of the observance.

He also thanked everyone who provided monetary, material, and emotional support, which helped the June 18 observance a success.

He further thanked the blood donors, Indian Red Cross Society, Imphal, and RIMS and JNIMS staffers for smooth conduct of blood donation camps at three locations.

The convenor also commended Manipur Police personnel for preventing any untoward incidents and both print and electronic media for their role in disseminating information about the observance.
