CRPF distribute aid at S Phoibung village

Kangpokpi, January 22 2025:
The 112 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a civic action programme at S Phoibung village, Kangpokpi district on Wednesday.
As part of the initiative, essential items were distributed to the villagers, including solar lamps, water tanks, flexi pipes, school bags, and dustbins to improve daily living standards, while footballs, volleyballs, and nets were also distributed to encourage youth participation in sports.
Under the leadership of CRPF M&N Sector IG Dr Vipul Kumar and guided by CRPF DIG (Ops) Kangpokpi Manish Kumar Sachar, the initiative was spearheaded by 112 Bn commandant Pramod Kumar Sahoo.
The event was also attended by S Phoibung village chief Mangboi Kipgen, local authorities, and senior officers like Kangpokpi SP Manoj Prabhakar M, second in command Mukesh Taterway and J P Singh, deputy commandant Rajendra Prasad Raiger, assistant commandant T S Baite and B-112 OC assistant commandant Birender Kumar.
With over 120 villagers in attendance, the programme, aimed to meet the immediate needs of the community while strengthening bonds of trust and cooperation.
The day was enriched with vibrant cultural performances, including traditional dances and duet songs performed by the local youth, womenfolk, and members of the Gorkha community.
