Lions Club organises blood donation camp

Imphal, August 18 2025: Lions Club of Imphal Excellence, under Lions International District 322D, organised a blood donation programme on Monday at Aadarsh Hospital & Research Institute, Imphal East in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS, State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC) and the National Health Mission, Manipur.

Speaking on the occasion, Club president Rakeshbanta Konjengbam expressed appreciation to the voluntary donors as well as officials and staff from RIMS for their valuable contributions.

He informed that the blood donation programme was organised as part of the 79th Independence Day celebration, under which service activities of 'One District One Service' are being conducted across Lions International District 322D .

The programme was participated by members of the club along with other volunteers.
