DIET entrance examination conducted

Kakching, August 18 2024: The entrance examination for recruiting 50 trainees for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) pre-service course at DIET Kakching was held smoothly at Kakching Higher Secondary School on Sunday.

Out of 487 candidates who submitted applications, both online and offline, 440 appeared for the exam, which is mandatory for aspiring teachers, in line with the new NCTE regulations under the RTE Act 2009 .

DIET in-charge W Ratankumar, who is also OC of the examination, expressed gratitude to the staff of Kakching Higher Secondary School, student organisations, candidates and others for the smooth conduct of the examination.
