CRPF reaches out to conflict-hit villages in Kpi

Kangpokpi, January 17 2025:
112 Battalion CRPF organised medical camp and distributed utility items to conflict-affected villages in Kangpokpi district under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) held at Phaileng village.
The programme was conducted under the aegis of CRPF M&N Sector IG Dr Vipul Kumar, and coordinated by commandant Promod Kumar Sahoo.
Phaileng, located in Kangpokpi district near Sekmai, has endured significant challenges since the unrest began on May 3, 2023.The programme benefitted over 170 villagers from Phaileng and Luwangsanggol through a free medical camp and the distribution of essential items such as sports equipment, water storage tanks, solar lamps, school bags, and dustbins.
Dignitaries, including local village chiefs; SP Kangpokpi Manoj Prabhakar M, and other senior CRPF officials, attended the event.
The programme featured vibrant cultural performances celebrating local heritage, further fostering unity and resilience.
The 112 Battalion also reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare, focusing on healthcare, education, and infrastructure development to bring lasting stability to the region.
