CRPF units promote 'Tiranga' campaign

As a part of the on-going 'Har Ghar Ti-ranga' campaign, 143 Bn CRPF organised a series of activities in and around Khulem Leikai to promote national unity and pride on Wednesday.
A release issued by 143 Bn CRPF commandant informed that the day began with a cleanliness drive at Laishram Leirak, where personnel of the unit participated in sanitising the locality.
Later, IGP M&N sector Dr Vipul Kumar and other senior officers of CRPF planted saplings followed by flagging off a bike rally from Khulem Leikai to Langjing and Kangla Fort, where personnel of 143 Bn led by IGP Dr Vipul Kumar, unit commandant Ravinder Sharma and other senior officers rode through the streets, carrying the national flags and spreading awareness about the significance of hoisting the Tricolour on August 15.Similarly, as part of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" and in the run-up to 78th Independence Day Celebration 2024, 69 Battalion CRPF launched a "Har Ghar Thanga" campaign at Mantripukhri.
IGP Dr Vipul Kumar, who also took part at the launch of the campaign, advised all officers, troopers and public to display the national flag in their homes and offices to foster spirit of patriotism.
Dr Vipul also flagged off the "Walkathon" rally as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
