Imphal, August 12 2024: Universal Study Centre, Imphal released the sixth volume of Manipur Khutpai' at the residence of the book s editor Wangkheimayum Homendro in Wangkhei Wangkheimayum Leikai on Sunday.

The release function was attended by novelist BM Maisnamba as chief guest, retired MFCAR Sharma as guest of honour and Study Centre president Elangbam Dolendro as president.

Meanwhile, the book and audio cassette version of Poknapham Lamdam Nungsiba Ima penned by Arunkumar Nongmaithem was released in a function organised by Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur, at Manipur Press Club here on Sunday.

The function was attended by former deputy chief minister Yumnam Joykumar as chief guest, Patriotic Writers' Forum president Naoroibam Khamba Luwang as president, and All India Radio Imphal retired head of programme Adhikarimayum Gitchandra Sharma as guest of honour.

Critic Salam Tomba spoke about the book.
