Imagi Meira opposes President's Rule

Imphal, March 05 2025: Imagi Meira president Th Sujata submitted a memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu demanding withdrawal of the President's rule from the state arid restoration of peace and normalcy by ending the conflict.

The memorandum highlighted that the conflict for nearly two years, has been infringing upon the rights of the people and causing breakdown of law and order.

It further emphasised the urgent need for restoration of peace and normalcy in the state, along with the establishment of a democratic government.

The memorandum also demanded package for deprived and displaced families, safe passage along state and national highways and asked the central government to fulfil the demands at the earliest.
