NCC ADG pays homage at INA memorial

NCC North East Region additional director general (ADG) Bhaskar Kalita paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the Moirang INA Martyr's Memorial on Saturday.
The homage is significant as the ADG of NCC Directorate NER honoured Netaji, who was a University Corps (which later became the NCC) cadet from 1917-1918, said a PIB (D) release, adding that after laying the wreath, the ADG took a brief walk around the INA Museum, and appreciated the collection of memorabilia which bring out the saga of bravery and sacrifice of Netaji and his army, including many brave-hearts from the state including Mairembam Koireng Singh, Hemam Nilamani Singh, Klyam Gopal Singh, Laiphrakpam Sanaba Singh, Potsangbam Tomal Singh, M Rahdhoni Devi and O Keina Devi who were part of Indian National Army (INA).
The ADG then interacted with NCC cadets and stated that the link between an old cadet, INA and NCC should never be broken.
The ADG also talked to the cadets about the importance of working hard to fulfil our aspirations.
Communication skills are the foundation of success and every cadet must work constantly to improve this aspect, he stressed and said that he is proud of the cadets of North East Region and especially Manipur, as they have excelled in all spheres of NCC activities.
