Global Parents Day celebrated with senior citizens

Imphal, June 01 2024: Army personnel from Spear Corps, deployed in the general area Maphou, Imphal East district, celebrated Global Parents Day with senior citizens at the Senior Citizen Home in Nongpok Kakching village on Saturday.

The army personnel interacted with the residents, and medical experts from the Army taught the seniors basic techniques to measure their blood pressure and sugar levels independently.

Additionally, a demonstration on managing blood pressure and diabetes through Yoga, Pranayam, and meditation was conducted.

A preliminary health check-up was performed by an Army doctor, and essential medicines and medical equipment were donated to the old age home.
