Imphal, July 31 2025: The first state meeting of the National Yuva Cooperative Society (NYCS) Limited, Manipur unit, was held on Wednesday at Thangjing Hall of Manipur Press Club, here.

In a statement, NYCS informed that as a part of the meeting, state representative H Leikoiba Meitei felicitated the unit's newly-elected district representatives including N Ramananda of Thoubal, M Premananda of Imphal East, RM Eshmeal of Senapati and Katrimsha Morningyer Tarao of Chandel.

In a telephonic message, NYCS Board of Directors general manager and secretary, Abhishek Kumar welcomed the newly formed unit and congratulated its members.

He expressed optimism that the Manipur unit would help empower youth and advance cooperative values in the state.

The meeting also discussed future action plans and initiatives to strengthen the cooperative movement and youth participation in the state.
