Imphal, April 30 2025: Assam Rifles joined in the celebration of Lai Haraoba, the most significant religious festival of Kwatha village in Tengnoupal district.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 100 locals, including children, who came together in a vibrant display of tradition, devotion, and cultural unity.

Devotees from Moreh and Imphal also joined the celebration.

Assam Rifles ensured a secure environment for the festivities and stood shoulder to shoulder with the community, reinforcing bonds of trust and cooperation, reflecting continued commitment to peace, stability, and the preservation of cultural heritage in the region, the PRO said.
