AR distributes sports items; conducts mock test

Imphal, December 31 2024: Assam Rifles distributed sports items, including two footballs, two volleyballs, and two volleyball nets, for the children of Sangaikot IDP Camp in Churachandpur district on.

Monday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the initiative aims to provide recreational opportunities, offering a sense of normalcy and promoting mental and physical well-being among children affected by ethnic violence in the region.

The distribution event was participated by AR personnel and local community members, bringing joy to the children and strengthening the bond between the security forces and the local population.

Meanwhile, AR conducted a mock test for candidates appearing in the upcoming Territorial Army (TA) Recruitment and SSC GD 2025 written exams at Veng village, Churachandpur district on Tuesday.

According to the PRO, the mock test was organised to familiarise the aspirants with the exam pattern and boost their confidence.

A total of 33 candidates for the TA Exam and eight candidates for SSC GD 2025, including six female aspirants, participated in the session.
