Irawat Day celebrated at Kumbi

Bishnupur, September 28 2024: The 128th birth anniversary of Jananeta Irawat was celebrated by Irawat Celebration Committee, Kumbi Local Council at Ibudhou Khongbu Manga shrine in Kumbi on Saturday.

The programme organised as a part of the month-long celebration being organised by Irawat Celebration Committee, Manipur State Council, was marked by offering of floral tributes to a life-size photo of Jananeta Irawat.

The celebration was attended by CPI Manipur State Council state secretary L Thoiren, comrade L Sotinkumar, CPI Bishnupur District Council office bearers, CPI Kumbi Local Council veteran comrades, CPI Kumbi local Council office bearers, programme co-ordinator M Meghachandra, Kumbi Municipal Council caretaker chairperson W Priyoranjan, KBCC advisor N Ibohal Meetei and other leaders.
