DAJGUA camp held in Jiribam

Jiribam, June 28 2025: As part of the ongoing nationwide focused campaign Dharti Aaba Abhiyan - an awareness and benefit saturation initiative under Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari (DAJGUA) - the district administration, in coordination with various line departments, organised a camp on Saturday at PMS English Junior High School in Jairolpokpi village.

The camp, which aimed to deliver entitlements directly to tribal communities, commenced at 11 am and continued until 3 pm .

A large number of villagers attended and availed themselves of various services provided under multiple departmental schemes.

It is worth noting that the Jiribam district administration launched the campaign on June 16 in Chotobekra village.

For the district, three villages - Chotobekra, Bhutangkhal, and Jairolpokpi - have been identified under the scheme.

The eligible beneficiaries received support under a range of schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, rural electrification, Forest Rights Act 2006, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, National Health Mission, National Sickle Cell Mission, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Anganwadi Centres, Skill India Mission, and PM Matsya Sampada Yojana.
