Film submissions open for GAFF2025

Imphal, October 24 2024: Guwahati Asian Film Festival (GAFF) has started accepting submissions of films �for its first edition, scheduled to take place from February 7 to 9, 2025 .

In a release, GAFF executive and communication director Dr M Hazarika informed that submissions for Asian Cinema and Indian showcase categories are open via filmfreeway.com/GuwahatiAsianFilmFestival, offering a prestigious platform for filmmakers across Asia and India to showcase their storytelling prowess.

He indicated that submissions for North East Indian language films can be made through the official festival website, gaff.co.in, under competition section.

"These films will be eligible for a range of awards recognising excellence in categories specific to North East Indian cinema" .

The Early Bird deadline for submissions is October 30, the director revealed, informing that for more information on submission guidelines, eligibility, and awards, one may visit the official festival website: gaff.co.in .
