AR School conducts field trip, picnic in Senapati

Senapati, January 22 2025: Assam Rifles Public School, Maram, organised a fun and exhilarating held trip to the State Bank of India, Maram Branch, followed by a picnic at the Maram Garrison on January 22, 2025 .

The school has a total of 235 students from various communities of Maram area, including the wards of serving Assam Rifles personnel, and is supported by 19 teachers.

The day started with a visit to the SBI Maram Branch, where students gained firsthand insight into the basic functions of a bank.

The branch manager explained to them the basic concepts of banking and taught them the importance of investing and saving money from an early age.

Later, a picnic was also organised for the junior students at Maram Garrison, where they enjoyed various games and activities organised by the school and Assam Rifles staff.

The kids were treated to games and singing along to the tunes played for them.

More than 150 students were part of the held trip and picnic.

The Assam Rifles stated that it remains committed to organising and conducting such engaging events to ensure holistic development of the children.
