Human chain protests Kadir's murder

Kakching, June 21 2025: A human chain was formed at Sora Bazar on Friday demanding swift punishment to killers of differently-abled Chesam Abdul Kadir of Poubitek Mayai Leikai.

During the protest demonstration organised by Anjuman Nasrul Islam Ulama-e-Association, Sora, the participants chanted slogans and held placards inscribed 'Punish Kadir's killers at the earliest', 'Justice for Abdul Kadir', etc .

Speaking to media persons, Anju-man general secretary M Ikramuddin questioned why Abdul Kadir was killed after he was handed over to Arambai Tenggol.

He also demanded that all involved in the murder of Kadir should be punished, without exception.

Emphasising that no one should attempt to disturb communal harmony in the state, Ikramuddin appealed to authorities concerned to ensure that nobody, be it club or organisation, take law into their hands.
