Imphal, August 18 2025: The Cultural Forum, Manipur observed the 113th birth anniversary of Rajkumar Shitaljit Singh at State Central Library Auditorium, here, on Monday.

In a release, the Forum informed that the observance was attended by Sahitya Akademi Manipuri Language Advisory Board convenor Prof Huirem Bihari Singh and Forum president Prof Koijam Shantibala Devi as presidium members, while RIMS Department of Clinical Psychology retired head Mayengbam Ak-shaykumar Singh spoke about the life and work of Rajkumar Shitaljit.

Selected poems of Shitaljit were read out by Nongmaithem Kirankumar Singh, Prof Toijam Tampha, Usham Niranjan Singh and Dr Pukhrambam Lilabati, the release added.
