CRPF troopers trained on first-aid

Imphal, January 17 2025:
A three-day course on first aid training aimed to equip personnel of 109 Battalion CRPF with essential life-saving skills concluded on Friday at Raj Bhawan.
The course was organised by the battalion in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society under the aegis of CRPF M&N sector IG and supervision of a team of trainers from the Indian Red Cross Society, Imphal West district branch including Dr Bankim Chandra Thokchom, Ng Paris, Khangenba, Suhani Maisnam, Hijam Roshni Kumar and W Leo.
The programme covered critical first aid techniques, including wound management, bleeding control, and basic life support.
In all 25 personnel of the CRPF unit who participated in the course were distributed certification in first aid.
Speaking at the valedictory programme, 109 commandant Brijesh Kumar noted significance of first aid in emergency situation and its importance in day to day affairs.
He also thanked, the team of doctors of Red Cross Society fur their contribution towards successful conduct of the capsule course.
