Imphal, August 16 2025: 109 Battalion, CRPF, Mongsangei in collaboration with Sky Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd organised a one-day free heart screening camp at Unit Headquarters, Mongsangei on Saturday.

According to a release issued by 109 Bn, CRPF, the camp was aimed at early detection, prevention, and awareness of heart-related diseases among, officers and force personnel.

A team of specialist doctors and medical staff from Sky Hospital conducted free ECG, ECHO, blood pressure, cholesterol, and other cardiac diagnostic tests.

Counselling sessions were also held to educate participants about heart health, lifestyle management, diet control, and preventive measures.

Speaking on the occasion, 109 Bn CRPF chief medical officer Dr Thokchom Motilal Singh emphasised the importance of timely health checkups and preventive care for ensuring the fitness and operational readiness of troops.

He expressed gratitude to Sky Hospital & Research Centre Pvt.

Ltd.

for extending their medical expertise and support in organising the camp.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation by officers and jawans, who benefited from specialised medical consultation and screening.

The initiative reflected the unit commitment towards the health and welfare of personnel, the release added.
