Special Sunday programme held; 'Khoiyom Cheitheng' premieres

Kakching, August 12 2024: The 500th edition of Special Sunday programme organised by Library and Information Centre (LIC), Kakching was held at its auditorium on Sunday along with the premier show of Dreams Production's 'Khoiyom Cheitheng' .

The programme was marked by cultural performances by children and prizes and gift presentation with LIC vice president Mayanglambam Kunjakesho, donors Yambem Satya Singh and Naorem Nopur Singh, veteran artistes Kangabam Tomba and Saikhom Manda Leima present as presidium members.

As part of the event, a children's film 'Khoiyom Cheitheng' was shown.

The film's costume, choreography and direction was done by Gyanand Kshetrimayum, cinematography by VFX, editing by Rajkidson and produced by Roshini and Dreams Production.

Speaking on the occasion, director Gyanand informed that the film is a fantasy movie for children with a story that is close to Mother Nature.

Mentioning that it took almost 10 years to complete and show the film, he said that it also presents the ancient society of Meeteis.
