Imphal, April 09 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extended his warmest greetings to the people of Manipur, especially to the Jain brethren, on the sacred occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.

In his message, the Governor stated that Lord Mahavira, the epitome of peace and non-violence, illuminated the world with His teachings of love, compassion, and selflessness, with His timeless message of harmony and coexistence continuing to inspire humanity across generations.

"As we celebrate the birth of this great apostle of peace,let us reaffirm our commitment to His principles of righteousness, harmony, and mutual respect.

May His teachings guide us towards a more compassionate and peaceful society," said the Governor.
