Candidates threaten stir over pending job result

Imphal, August 07 2024: Candidates who appeared in MSPDCL/MSPCL Group C and D recruitment examinations cautioned of launching Intense agitations including hunger strike if results of written test are not declared within August 15 .

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club Koubru Hall here on Wednesday, a candidate identified as Yumkhaibam Manoj recalled that the advertisement for the recruitment of MSPDCL and MSPCL was published in 2019 and written test for the same conducted in 2020.However, result of the written test is yet to be declared for the last three-four years.

While stating that the candidates have been exerting pressure on authorities concerned including minister for declaring the result, he reminded that the power minister recently assured of declaring the result within August or September.

However, it is unfortunate that the power minister during the ongoing assembly session stated that the results will be declared within December, he said, while denouncing the statement of the minister to the candidates to look for other jobs as well instead of waiting only for the recruitment result.
