DMF lauds Manipur peace initiatives

Imphal, March 04 2025: Delhi Meitei Forum (DMF) applauded Union Home Minister Amit Shah for taking the Manipur crisis with all seriousness.

In a release, DMF lauded Amit Shah for his commitment to restoring peace and normalcy in Manipur, noting that his recent initiatives have kindled renewed hope among the people.

The high level meeting held in New Delhi was followed by announcement of key measures including free movement, enhancing border security, anti-drug measures, security deployment, strict legal action, support for displaced families and community dialogue, the Forum acknowledged, and pledged to fully support the steps initiated for a peaceful, united arid prosperous Manipur.
