Kakching, June 03 2024: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Kakching district branch organised a written quiz competition in connection with World Environment Day at Martin Grammar School, Kakching on Sunday.

In the Junior Red Cross (Class IX to X) category, Rajkumari Victory of MMS Genius Academy, Kakching secured the first position while Yendrenbam Kabita of Kendra Vidyalaya No 1 Lamphel, Mayanglambam Charanjit of JNV Umathel, Kshetrimayum Mangai of Martin Grammar School, and Moirangthem Rohit of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching shared the second position, and Brahmacharimayum Gayatri of MMS Genius Academy Kakching, Pukhrambam Ulliver of JNV Umathel, and Shamjetsha-bam Ruby of Grace Cottage Academy, Kakching shared the 3rd position.

For the Youth Red Cross (Graduate and above) category, Mayengbam John of LMS Law College, and Elangbam Jemson of DM College of Arts won the first and second position respectively while Md Sahid & Md Sakil Rezvi of Lilong Haoreibi College shared the third position.

Winners will be felicitated during the World Environment Day observance on June 5 at Wabagai Yangbi High School.
