Imphal, July 26: The department of publicity and propaganda of the proscribed outfit PREPAK has clarified that Tiger alias Chinglen alias Homeshwor who has been issuing statements to the media is not a member of the outfit but an imposter.

In a statement, publicity in-charge PREPAK Aheiba Angom disclosed that Tiger was a member of the outfit but he had retired long ago.

So the statements issued by him by claiming himself to be a member of the outfit is to mislead the people.

Such misleading statements would give the impression that PREPAK has many factions.

So if he continues to do so, the party may be constraint to take a decision of laying hands on him, Aheiba warned.

Taking serious note of extortion activities and intimidation of the public being carried out by some vested interested persons by misusing the name of the outfit, Aheiba has also cautioned the people against such individuals and appealed to them not to shelter them.
