Imphal, April 20 2026: Meira rallies demanding justice for victims of the Tronglaobi incidents continued today at different places in Imphal.

A meira rally was carried out by different organisations from Langthabal Phura Makhong to Keishamthong.

The rally condemned the Trongalobi bomb attack of April 7 which killed two children and death of three persons in CRPF firing on protesters on the same day.

The protesters, largely womenfolk, raised slogans and called on the Government to launch a strong military crackdown on Chin-Kuki narco terrorists.

The protesters urged the Government to arrest the perpetrators of the attack that killed two children and punish CRPF personnel involved in the firing on protesters that killed 3 civilians and injured several others.

The protesters raised slogans asking central security forces to "go back" and demanded the Government of India end its "proxy war".

A similar Meira rally was organised by Awang Sekmai Kanba Nupi Lup, womenfolk of Maharabi and Kanglatongbi from Sekmai Nongthonban to Maharabi.

The protesters demanded swift justice for the victims of the Tronglaobi incidents and appealed to the Government to crackdown on armed Kuki militants.
