Imphal, October 06 2025:
Joining their party colleagues to exert pressure on Central leaders so as to install a popular Government in the State, four more BJP MLAs left for Delhi today separately.
While Paonam Brojen (Wangjing Tentha AC) and Kh Raghumani (Uripok AC) went to Delhi together, SS Olish (Chandel AC) and Th Biswajit (Thongju) left for the National capital separately today.
Speaking to The Sangai Express at Imphal Airport this morning, Paonam Brojen said that all the people including Meiteis, Nagas and Kukis wish for the return of a popular Government.
After holding a meeting with BJP North East coordinator Sambit Patra on October 8, the BJP MLAs will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on installation of a popular Government in Manipur within the current month, Brojen said.

Saying there is no hope for a popular Government in Manipur for a couple of years if a popular Government is not formed in the coming days, Brojen asserted that they will put in every effort to form a popular Government within October.
If a popular Government is not formed shortly, the 13th Manipur Legislative Assembly election which is due in 2027 may not be held in time, he said.
"We doubt the State Assembly election will be held in time if a popular Government is not formed at the earliest", he said.
Brojen went on to claim that all the people and even Opposition Congress wish for the return of a popular Government in the State.
Fearing that what happened to Jammu & Kashmir may be re-enacted in Manipur if a popular Govt is not formed at the earliest, all the BJP MLAs have been working to see the return of a popular Govt, Brojen said.
He said that Dr Th Radheshyam (Heirok AC) and Dr Y Radheshyam (Hiyanglam AC) will join them at Delhi on Tuesday.
On being asked whether the Central leaders would give nod to formation of a popular Government without the Kuki MLAs at a time when Meiteis are not allowed to move freely on National Highways, Brojen maintained that Kuki MLAs too want installation of a popular Govt at the earliest He asserted that there is not a single MLA who does not wish the return of a popular Government.
