AITC candidate Woba Joram urged ECI to conduct investigation

Alleging that the just concluded Assembly poll was not free and fair in Manipur and particularly in Mao AC, AITC candidate of Mao AC, Woba Joram has urged the ECI to conduct proper investigation.
In a press statement, Woba Joram alleged that most of the genuine electorates of Mao area like Pudunamai, Robunamai, Kalinamai, Songsong, Shajouba and Chowainu villages were barred from exercising their franchise.
He alleged that NPF workers, most of them who came from Nagaland in 10 buses, had practiced proxy voting.
Each volunteer had cast 20 votes.
Innocent electorates were restricted from entering their respective polling booth.
Further, Joram wondered that the polling officials present there remained a mute spectators.
The AITC Senapati district has urged the the Election Commission of India for proper investigation into the matter.
