ABDM Scan & Share facilities launched in Senapati

Senapati, July 30 2024:
Senapati deputy commissioner (DC) Mamoni Doley launched Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) facilities at District Hospital (DH), Senapati for faster OPD registration.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Mamoni expressed elation on availability of the ABDM facilities in the district hospital, and urged all to cause awareness to ensure convenient access to the facility.
Appealing all concerned to get enrolled for PMJAY or CMHT scheme as the enrolment rate is still low in the district, the DC stressed on the need to avail benefit of the noble schemes.
On the other hand, PMJAY & ABDM medical coordinator Johnny Chawang highlighted the ease of downloading the ABHA app on mobile phone for faster OPD registration in the hospital.
Once, a patient installs the app, one can scan the QR code from mobile phone and get registered or login, share profile with the hospital and get the registration token.
Later, one can get the OPD slip from the registration counter, he explained.
The officer stated that there would not be any mistake in noting down one's profile from the app in order to avoid standing in queues thereafter.
Senapati DH medical superintendent Dr Helen Shimray welcomed the gathering and said that the facility will address inconvenience faced by out-patients seeking medical service in the hospital.
The programme was also participated by Senapati CMO and staffers, DLOs, CSO leaders, and Karong Senapati Town Committee members among others.
