Bishnupur, March 29 2025: Wushu star and Aijuna Awardee, Naorem Roshibina, who has been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sports) was feted at Kwasiphai, Bishnupur today.

The felicitation function was organised by K Gojendro Foundation and Kwasiphai New Youth Club at the latter's campus.

Bishnupur AC MLA Govindas Konthoujam, Oinam AC MLA I Nalini Devi, Moirang AC MLA Th Shanti Singh, DC Bishnupur L Bikram Singh, Joint Secretary (YAS) T Phule Meetei and eminent personalities of Kwasiphai attended the programme.

At the event, Naorem Roshibina was honoured by the K Gojendro Foundation with an award of Rs 50,000 and a shawl.

The KNYC also presented her with gifts.

Speaking at the event, MLA Govindas congratulated Naorem Roshibina on her appointment as DSP (Sports) recently and said, her feat has inspired young sports enthusiasts in the State.

Naorem Roshibina has won several medals in National and international level games.

She hails from Bishnupur district's Kwasiphai, and is the daughter of Naorem Damu and Naorem Romila.
