Heritage student tops peace poster contest

Imphal, October 27 2024: Lions Club of Imphal East organised peace poster contest on the theme 'Peace without limits' at SI Academy, Nongmeibung on Sunday.

A release issued by the Lions Club unit informed that Nongmaithem Korounganba (Class VII) of Heritage Convent School, Uripok bagged the first position, followed by Wangkheimayum Hiyaileima (Class IX) of Mega Manipur School second and Khundrakpam Chinglembi Chanu (Class VI) of SL Arena of Learning, Kongpal the third position.

The poster of winner drawn by Korounganba will be forwarded by the club for the next round of international judging, it continued, while adding that 36 students in the age group (11-1'3 years) took part in the contest.
