Assam Rifles extends assistance

Imphal, July 25 2024:
Assam Rifles provided prompt medical assistance to one Ranjina (36) of Yairipok village, who was bitten by a venomous snake while working in a garden at Phundrei in Thoubal on Wednesday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that Ranjina was brought to the unit hospital of AR where she was swiftly attended to by the medical team.
A team of Assam Rifles also provided immediate first aid to civilians injured after the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident.
According to the PRO, immediate first aid was administered to the injured, ensuring the safety of those involved.
The supplies were also transported to the nearest AR post and the civilians were provided medical care at Joupi while an AR excavator retrieved the vehicle and cleared the route, it further mentioned.
